In 2016 I was diagnosed with a very rare pituitary tumour. I found embroidery incredibly beneficial to my mental health and coping with this disease which is still ongoing. When I started to feel better I designed and created a collection of stitch therapy kits. I have given many of these kits to hospital patients, hospice patients and people who are troubled with many of life's challenges.
