The workshop is approximately 3 - 4 hours long.
The aim of this workshop is to make a ring which has significant meaning to you and will help you by using it as a confirmation and affirmation that your loved one is always watching over you. Many people believe that a Robin appears as a messenger from a lost loved one so the whole design is based on the friendly robin.
You will also find that the jewellery making process is also very therapeutic and is a wonderful form of mindfulness. You will start from scratch using sheet metal and wire and use various punches to stamp out your Robin. You will then use a variety of jewellery and silversmithing techniques to make your item. The gemstones you can choose from have been carefully selected with their traditional healing properties which can help with grief.
The workshop is held in Wendy's tranquil studio and run with 2 - 4 people.
You can either choose to make a 2 or 3 banded stacking ring incorporating a robin design and relevant gemstones or you can choose to make a spinning ring with robin design and relevant gemstones.
Cake, tea and coffee will be provided however if you wish to bring along a snack to keep you going please do so.
If you wish to book this workshop please see the booking page for available dates.
