Session 3: Bezel Set Pendant
In this session on the jewellery making course you will learn how to make a bezel setting and set a cabochon gemstone from scratch. You will learn about different shaped stones and how they are cut and which settings are required for different shaped stones. Once you have made the setting from scratch and it is finished to a polished state you will set the stone in place using a pushing tool. You will also learn how to make a bail from scratch.

This was my 3rd session with Wendy’s part time jewellery making course and definitely the hardest and most rewarding! Wendy is an excellent teacher who gets to the point quickly and explains things well, whilst remaining patient. Can’t wait to see what’s next! 😃
