Bring along your special memory to capture in resin. This could be cremation ash, fur or hair from a pet or lost loved one, hair from your children, fur from your children's favourite teddies, pieces of fabric from your loved ones favourite clothing or a button form your dads shirt. Almost anything can be captured in the resin. If you wish to use items such as flowers, leaves or foliage then these items must be dried out fully for several weeks prior to placing them in resin otherwise the resin will turn yellow.

If you would like to bring and incorporate a photograph then this must be printed onto waterproof paper through your inkjet printer making sure it is no larger than 25mm. The depth of this design allows you to add a photo and another memory item inside.

In this workshop you will make a setting from scratch using a variety of silversmithing and jewellery techniques and then you can personalise it using design stamps. There are many design stamps, letters and numbers to choose from to make every piece even more unique.

Gold foil and dried forget me not flowers are available to add into your design at no extra cost.

After making the silver setting you will mix up and add the resin and your memory item. This is then left with Wendy as it needs to cure and Wendy will do the final pour 24 hours later . You can collect the item approximately 1 week later to ensure it has fully cured or Wendy can post it to you (there will be an extra postage cost).

This workshop lasts approximately 3 - 4 hours. Free tea and coffee is available to help yourself to.

No previous experience is necessary. Wendy will guide you step by step all through the making process.
