Creating a Diamond from Ashes or Hair

Heart In Diamond is the name of the company which produces genuine diamonds made from the ashes or hair from your lost loved one. 

 Heart In Diamond 2mm or 3mm diamonds can be made and set into Wendy’s memorial jewellery designs.

Please note:
The ashes or hair are turned into the diamond itself. There is no ash hidden inside or beneath the diamond.

How the Diamond Is Made

Diamonds created from ashes or hair are grown in a laboratory using advanced technology. This process recreates the same extreme heat and pressure found deep within the Earth, where natural diamonds are formed.

A tiny diamond “seed” is used to begin the process. The carbon taken from the ashes or hair is then used to grow the diamond around this seed, resulting in a certified, genuine diamond.

How to Start Your Order

When you feel ready, you can choose one of the two options below.

Option 1: Visit Wendy in Person

You can book an appointment to visit Wendy at her studio in Crowborough, East Sussex.

During your visit:

• You will look at jewellery designs together

• Wendy will take your measurements

• The diamond order form will be completed with care

Please bring:

• 100g of ashes or

• 2g of hair

Wendy will safely send this to Heart In Diamond Laboratory, where your diamond will be grown.

Option 2: Order Your Diamond First

You may contact Heart In Diamond Laboratory directly and order your diamond with them. Their team will guide you carefully through the process.

Once your diamond order is placed:

1. Contact Wendy to arrange your jewellery order

2. Wendy will send you an order form and a ring or bangle gauge if needed

3. Wendy will begin making your jewellery, ready for the diamond

When the diamond is complete:

• Heart In Diamond will either send it directly to Wendy, or

• Send it to you, so you can forward it to Wendy

Wendy will then set the diamond and finish your jewellery.

Once completed, Wendy will contact you to arrange delivery.

Payment

• 50% payment is required when placing your order

• The remaining 50% is due upon collection or before your finished piece is posted to you

Delivery

All jewellery is sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery for safety and peace of mind.
